These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Pocket Odyssey (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
What Pocket Odyssey is
Pocket Odyssey is an entertainment and educational app that simulates travel between real-world locations. It does not book flights, hotels, or any real travel, and nothing in the App constitutes travel advice, booking services, or a real transportation ticket.
Using the App
- You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the App, or have a parent/guardian's permission if you are a minor in your jurisdiction.
- You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to disrupt its services, reverse-engineer it beyond what's permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- Your anonymous account and the trip/passport data associated with it are for your personal, non-commercial use.
Content in the App
Place descriptions, photos, and travel-guide text are generated or sourced from third-party and AI services and are provided for entertainment purposes. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that any fact, photo, or description in the App is complete, current, or error-free. Do not rely on the App for real-world travel planning or safety decisions.
Advertising
The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of ads shown or for any third-party sites or apps they link to.
Intellectual property
The App's design, code, and original artwork (including its vehicle and map graphics) belong to Pocket Odyssey. Third-party content (map tiles, photos, weather data) remains the property of its respective providers and is used under their terms.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Odyssey and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to the App or these Terms
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
